Hyperhidrosis is a treatment which treats excessive sweating in the hands, feet and underarms.
You will begin with a consultation with a doctor who will evaluate your medical history to ensure there is no underlying other medical cause for the sweating. Once diagnosed with hyperhidrosis you can expect a significant reduction of abnormal sweating and an improved quality of life.
Treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes. Results are seen 5-10 days following treatment and will last up to 4-6 months.
You may experience mild swelling and bruising at the injection site which usually resolves after a few days. You can expect to resume normal activities on the same day.
Injections can cause mild discomfort; however, this lasts seconds. Numbing cream can be applied ensuring comfort during the treatment.
